Display an artwork from the curriculum and ask students to describe it using as many adjectives as possible. Introduce vocabulary related to color, texture, and emotions, and encourage students to use complete sentences when sharing their descriptions. Have students choose a painting or sculpture and imagine the story behind it. Students can write a short narrative or dialogue between characters in the artwork, practicing past tense and narrative structures. Show two works of art and have students compare and contrast them using a Venn diagram.
