Use the interactive timeline as a learning center. Have students tour the timeline, with the purposes of finding what they think are the 10 most important events in the history of DNA. Have students create a multimedia presentation of their top 10 events using PowerPoint Online, reviewed here. This site allows users to narrate a picture. Challenge students to find a photo (legally permitted to be reproduced), and then narrate their photos as if it is a news report.
